When Artemio Donio came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ponta da Praia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Donio couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 10 in the game by Artemio Donio from a close distance when the talented Aykutalp Özhan managed to make a qualified save. FC DOIDO's players were relieved. Tiago Neves came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC DOIDO's Alexsandro de Amaral. But to his dismay, Alexsandro de Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Artemio Donio succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Luizinho Velloso came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aykutalp Özhan could save by the left post. If Gláuber de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes of play, Ponta da Praia FC's Artemio Donio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aykutalp Özhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th match minute, Ponta da Praia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Donio to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Ponta da Praia FC's Luizinho Velloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aykutalp Özhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. FC DOIDO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luizinho Velloso 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. The supporters of Ponta da Praia FC booed when FC DOIDO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armandinho Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aykutalp Özhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Artemio Donio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aykutalp Özhan, 6-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alexsandro de Amaral made the kick off in the second half. Tiago Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Artemio Donio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Aykutalp Özhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aykutalp Özhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Donio in the 61st minute of play. FC DOIDO's Aykutalp Özhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber de Sousa in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, FC DOIDO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Cunha to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, Ponta da Praia FC's Artemio Donio made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizinho Velloso scored 8-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aykutalp Özhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexsandro de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Neves having to interfere. A collision led to Ponta da Praia FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alexsandro de Godoi hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Alexsandro de Amaral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tiago Neves, 8-2. After a rather tough play, FC DOIDO's Armandinho Cunha got a free kick in the 90th minute. Aykutalp Özhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Luizinho Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
