In the 21stth minute of the game Deivid Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flexx CS Team's Romário Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Nando Porto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romário Magalhães. Nando Porto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Simão de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Simão having to make a save. One of Flexx CS Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.E.Santacruzense:s goal. Simão de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. William Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Simão having to interfere. Flexx CS Team's Romário Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Flexx CS Team from getting a goal against them.
