Kolob FC's Gabriel Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Vides in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Nils-Erik Hagberg made a precise shot to the right of Thiago de Amaral. Otavianos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Oswaldo Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Thiago de Amaral made a huge save. If Oswaldo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Erik Hagberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Oswaldo Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Varela got free with Gabriel Valladares in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Lopez in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Nils-Erik Hagberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Otavianos FC's Thiago de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oscar Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kolob FC's Pedrinho Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eurico Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gabriel Valladares made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Otavianos FC's zone, Nils-Erik Hagberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago de Amaral came out of the goal and Nils-Erik Hagberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Kolob FC were the better team. Kolob FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
