In the 18th minute of the game, Luiz Fernando Almeida landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Pedro Luís Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Audax Paulista's protests and gave Pedro Luís Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Pedro Luís Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Limitless FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Maicon Munhoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Otávio Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Senna hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jerônimo Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acácio Vianna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Pontes went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Luís Fabiano Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Maicon Munhoz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luís Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Abreu in the 53rd minute of play forced Limitless FC's goalkeeper Otávio Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Limitless FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Amauri Maia hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Audax Paulista's Norberto Azevedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Acácio Vianna made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jerônimo Pontes sent off a good shot on target. Jerônimo Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Acácio Vianna made a huge save. Otávio Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Munhoz in the 68th minute of the match. Acácio Vianna was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amauri Maia. Jerônimo Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Acácio Vianna made a huge save. If Luís Fabiano Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Limitless FC's zone, Pedro Luís Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Félix came out of the goal and Pedro Luís Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerônimo Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliézer de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Acácio Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
