Deportivo Palhoça's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luukas Lefevre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to S C Gramado getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zinedine Adler hit a great ball. Luukas Lefevre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luukas Lefevre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Munhoz having to interfere. When Cosme Fonda fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Palhoça's protests and gave Cosme Fonda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th match minute, Deportivo Palhoça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Fonda to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Luukas Lefevre made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, S C Gramado's Luukas Lefevre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Michail Neumann charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Alfonso Di Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Luukas Lefevre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cacá Munhoz. That made the score 0-7 in the 86 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Palhoça's zone, Luukas Lefevre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Munhoz came out of the goal and Luukas Lefevre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. S C Gramado played a much better game than Deportivo Palhoça and deserved their victory. The Deportivo Palhoça players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
