Miguel de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar do Valle in the 14th minute of play. Oscar do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo de Barros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Miguel de Almeida firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcelo de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Miguel de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Joaninha FC booed when Antoniao SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaninha FC's Miguel de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Bastos in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo de Barros in the 89th minute of play forced Joaninha FC's goalkeeper Miguel de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
