Naldo Munhoz in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Washington Bertassi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fabiano Mesquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes, Cristiano Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Texugo Futebol Clube and the Coiotes Club MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Coiotes Club MZ got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Vasconcelos. Cristiano Tinoco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tostão Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Vasconcelos in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivo Vasconcelos made a kick off. Coiotes Club MZ's Washington Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Gaúcho in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Gonçalo Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Coiotes Club MZ booed when Texugo Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ivo Vasconcelos took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tostão Guimarães to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Coiotes Club MZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
