Laerte Paraibano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Jailson Sergipano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Vítor Mesquita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Vítor Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8thth minute of the game Jailson Sergipano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VISÃO F.C's João Vítor Mesquita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betão Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Vítor Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Sergipano in the 15th minute of the match. João Vítor Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A hard shot 20 in the game by Jailson Sergipano from a close distance when the talented João Vítor Mesquita managed to make a qualified save. VISÃO F.C's players were relieved. If Betão Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in VISÃO F.C's zone, Jailson Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Mesquita came out of the goal and Jailson Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. VISÃO F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Erasmo Neto scored to the left of an out of position João Vítor Mesquita, making the score, 1-0. Cacá de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Esporte Clube de Carmo's Valério Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Barros in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jailson Sergipano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Vítor Mesquita was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Jailson Sergipano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised João Vítor Mesquita 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, VISÃO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Sergipano came free, but João Vítor Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jailson Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Mesquita having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mazinho Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jailson Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. João Vítor Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esporte Clube de Carmo. Júnior Schmidt in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valério Duarte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erasmo Neto's late challenge caught a VISÃO F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Neto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Erasmo Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacá de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jailson Sergipano might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Vítor Mesquita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jailson Sergipano ran back to his position shaking his head. João Vítor Mesquita came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube de Carmo's Jailson Sergipano. But to his dismay, Jailson Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. João Vítor Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jailson Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Conrado Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esporte Clube de Carmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Jailson Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. João Vítor Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enio de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. João Vítor Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esporte Clube de Carmo. In the 91st minute, Celsinho Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mazinho Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Jailson Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VISÃO F.C's Edinho Barros shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Valério Duarte but with some difficulty. When the referee ended the match the Esporte Clube de Carmo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
