Kaká França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Netto in the 4th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Netto in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaká França prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Valladares got free with Gernando Falcão in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Aparecidense AA booed when Portilho F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Catarinense in the 24th minute of play. Portilho F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dráusio Custódio in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Dráusio Custódio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aparecidense AA's Gernando Falcão did a great save. Kaká França stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Netto's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Diogo Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Aparecidense AA got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Majdoch. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Aparecidense AA's Ediberto Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aparecidense AA! Kaká França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Netto in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ediberto Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aparecidense AA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaká França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evandro Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Falcão having to interfere. Kaká França made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Marcus Netto sent off a good shot on target. Ediberto Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Evandro Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcus Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Catarinense in the 82nd minute of the match. Marcus Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Netto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Kaká França when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kaká França made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Marcus Netto sent off a good shot on target. Aparecidense AA's Marcus Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Portilho F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Aparecidense AA for much of the match.
