Silas Castro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tião Trancoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Silas Castro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. After 11 played minutes Palmitinhos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Teixeira. Vastar FC's Renatinho Carvalho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Palmitinhos FC. Teodoro Toscano might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kléber Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Toscano ran back to his position shaking his head. When Teodoro Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Palmitinhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Toscano couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Teodoro Toscano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmitinhos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Vastar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Toscano came free, but Kléber Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tião Trancoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Silas Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vastar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute of the match Igor Veloso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tião Trancoso skillfully saved the ball. Tião Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Vastar FC's Claudinei Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítor Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 86th minute.
