After 3 played minutes Jaceaba got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Chaves. Jaceaba's Garth Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Valadares in the 5th minute of play. Nuno de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Jaceaba booed when jiraya MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaceaba's goalkeeper Garth Mann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaceaba's Garth Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Valadares in the 13th minute of play. If Tadeu Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeu Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Ramalho having to interfere. Tadeu Magalhãess short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Severino Ramalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Severino Ramalho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, jiraya MZC's Décio Leão got a free kick in the 25th minute. Severino Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Ramalho in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Macedo in the 84th minute of play forced Jaceaba's goalkeeper Garth Mann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for jiraya MZC! After a rather tough play, jiraya MZC's Décio Leão got a free kick in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Jaceaba were the better team. Jaceaba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
