With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Tavares in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Albuquerque saved Birutas FC from getting behind. Arlindo Albuquerque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matheus Veiga in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Pernambucano in the 87th minute of play forced Jota P Assis's goalkeeper Betão Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Célio Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, one of Birutas FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hugo Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Albuquerque having to interfere. Jota P Assis's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
