Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luís Paulo Reis got the match started through his kick off. Natanael Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Cardozo in the 4th minute of play. Edinho Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natanael Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edinho Loureiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Emanuel Tasso struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Natanael Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guataquara SS. Amadeu Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Mota having to interfere. Jerônimo Monteiro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Natanael Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Cardozo in the 21st minute of play. Natanael Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Conrado Cardozo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Cardozo in the 37th minute of play forced Gremio FC's goalkeeper Natanael Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Natanael Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Cardozo made a kick off. After some careless play in the Gremio FC defense, Amadeu Trevisan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natanael Mota. The Gremio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natanael Mota should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute Conrado Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Gremio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Cardozo came free, but Natanael Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Amadeu Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guataquara SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Mota having to interfere. In the 69th minute Amadeu Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edinho Loureiro's late challenge caught a Gremio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guataquara SS's Edinho Loureiro got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Gremio FC got a freekick which was hit by Elói Arruda. Antônio Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Mota having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Guataquara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan Félix to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Conrado Cardozo sped through Gremio FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Natanael Mota. When the referee ended the match the Guataquara SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
