Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Téo Pitta started the match with the kick off. Samuel das Neves made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Gerson Lopes sent off a good shot on target. When Ricardo dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Pardiuva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo dos Santos couldn't finish the play. Samuel das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When Jacinto Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pardiuva's protests and gave Jacinto Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mamonas Assassinas booed when Pardiuva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pardiuva's goalkeeper Eriberto Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Nascimento having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pardiuva's zone, Jorge Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Nascimento came out of the goal and Jorge Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eriberto Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Pitta in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Mamonas Assassinas's goalkeeper Samuel das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerson Lopes. Samuel das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pardiuva's zone, Téo Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Nascimento came out of the goal and Téo Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel das Neves came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Pardiuva's Gerson Lopes. But to his dismay, Gerson Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel das Neves having to interfere. Gerson Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel das Neves having to interfere. Mamonas Assassinas's Samuel das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo dos Santos in the 61st minute of play. Eriberto Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Pitta in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Pardiuva getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Guilherme Campidelis hit a great ball. Gerson Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mamonas Assassinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pardiuva the free kick. Ricardo dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Ricardo dos Santos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mamonas Assassinas's Samuel das Neves. Samuel das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuel das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo dos Santos in the 87th minute of play. Betão Vale hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Gerson Lopes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamonas Assassinas's Samuel das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Fabiano Bueno hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Ricardo dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pardiuva had won after a very even match.
