In the 20th minute, Edson Brodel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mazinho Machado. The goal made the score 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mattao SS's zone, Nando Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazinho Machado came out of the goal and Nando Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nando Saraiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Mazinho Machado made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giuseppe Cunha during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rondônia Blazers FC 4EVER getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Giuseppe Cunha hit a great ball. When João Francisco do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Mattao SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Francisco do Vale couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. Rondônia Blazers FC 4EVER's Geovani Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Messias in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 minutes Rondônia Blazers FC 4EVER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Téo Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Téo Azevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geovani Abraão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Edson Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovani Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Messias's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Giuseppe Cunha got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 90th minute, Giuseppe Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattao SS's Allan Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner ended in Téo Azevedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rondônia Blazers FC 4EVER's Geovani Abraão did a great save.
