Agostinho Tande hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Goitizeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Veiga came free, but João Paulo Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Erasmo Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goitizeiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centro Sportivo Alagoano the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Goitizeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. When Centro Sportivo Alagoano's Killian Mbappè in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 47th minute Aníbal Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aníbal Veiga to make the kick off. Killian Mbappè sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vânderson Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Porto in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg João Paulo Loureiro managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Centro Sportivo Alagoano's Killian Mbappè fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Goitizeiro's João Paulo Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Veiga in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Centro Sportivo Alagoano booed when Goitizeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Centro Sportivo Alagoano's Nelsinho Berger shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by João Paulo Loureiro but with some difficulty. After 74 minutes, Killian Mbappè made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Goitizeiro's João Paulo Loureiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Paulo Loureiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hélder Vargas. In the 89th minute, Erasmo Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Centro Sportivo Alagoano's Killian Mbappè managed to work through Goitizeiro's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Killian Mbappè dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 94 minutes into the match, Centro Sportivo Alagoano's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Porto came free, but Vânderson Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Gustavo Quirino's late challenge caught a Centro Sportivo Alagoano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Gustavo Quirino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Goitizeiro getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Quirino hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Paulo Loureiro was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Goitizeiro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aníbal Veiga 97 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Centro Sportivo Alagoano left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Goitizeiro.
