Spectators: 6402 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Waldemar Teles kicked off to start the match. João Carlos Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Eduardo Toledo made a huge save. After recieving a nice pass, TROPA DE ELITE's André Luís Arantes tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of TROPA DE ELITE booed when Angicos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, TROPA DE ELITE's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Gonçalves came free, but Luiz Guilherme Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Paraíba in the 36th minute of play. Angicos SC's Oswaldo Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the game, TROPA DE ELITE's Waldemar Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. João Carlos Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eduardo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, João Carlos Meira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TROPA DE ELITE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 68th minute João Carlos Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswaldo Gonçalves got free with Luiz Guilherme Leão in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Angicos SC's Vivaldo Paraíba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Guilherme Leão. That made the score 2-1 after 74 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Angicos SC's zone, João Carlos Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Toledo came out of the goal and João Carlos Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TROPA DE ELITE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Angicos SC for a fine match.
