The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Goioxim EC's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Alcântara came free, but Nicolas Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Madureira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giuseppe Mattos in the 18th minute. After 22 played minutes Alcance Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Vasconcelos. Cauã Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Maranhense having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcance Futebol Clube and the Goioxim EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Cauã Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe Mattos went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 53rd match minute, Alcance Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Pedro Luís Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 65th minute, Aloísio Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Cauã Breckenfeld's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Pedro Luís Maranhense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luiz Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Goioxim EC's Nicolas Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Mattos in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Alcance Futebol Clube's Giuseppe Mattos made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alcance Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Goioxim EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
