José Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magno Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When José Penha came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mutante Rex FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Penha couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Serginho Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that José Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guto Maciel was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Guto Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erivaldo Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Maciel having to interfere. Guto Maciel came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mutante Rex FC's Falcão Cosme. But to his dismay, Falcão Cosme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Mutante Rex FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Evandro Gerber hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Crazy FC's goalkeeper Guto Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Nogueira. Crazy FC's Guto Maciel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Crazy FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute José Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serginho Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Serginho Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Mutante Rex FC's Marcos Nogueira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guto Maciel. That made the score 3-0 after 33 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mutante Rex FC's zone, Vivaldo Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinícius do Vale came out of the goal and Vivaldo Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mutante Rex FC's Erivaldo Penha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Guto Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Nogueira in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Crazy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Penha came free, but Guto Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erivaldo Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Marcos Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Guto Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Marcos Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mutante Rex FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erivaldo Penha struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Guto Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mutante Rex FC. After 66 played minutes Crazy FC got a freekick which was hit by Magno Brasil. Guto Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Crazy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Nogueira came free, but Guto Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mutante Rex FC booed when Crazy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Marcos Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Guto Maciel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the match, Crazy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Gerber came free, but Guto Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Evandro Gerber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guto Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Evandro Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mutante Rex FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Crazy FC's Guto Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Penha in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Marcos Nogueira put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guto Maciel. Mutante Rex FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
