Guarulight F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Guarulight F.C's William Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magno Jacinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Angelo Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Paes having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fearless Jungle Jaguars's goalkeeper Magno Jacinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If João Paulo Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Angelo Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fearless Jungle Jaguars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Fearless Jungle Jaguars's Leonardo Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitinho Paes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angelo Fontes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Vitinho Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fearless Jungle Jaguars. Angelo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vitinho Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Angelo Fontes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Guarulight F.C's Giuseppe Brasil got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guarulight F.C's zone, Mathias Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Paes came out of the goal and Mathias Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matías Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Donato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Felippe de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Angelo Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Brasil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guarulight F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fearless Jungle Jaguars the free kick. After 56 played minutes Guarulight F.C got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Brasil. Magno Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves William Donato could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Magno Jacinto however easily saved by the left post. In the 85th minute of the game Tales Abreu made a throw-in which Almir Borges played forward. After 92 played minutes Guarulight F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Rodrigues. Angelo Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Paes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Leonardo Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fearless Jungle Jaguars's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
