Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Luz started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Crazy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Brasil to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Solar Paulistano's Edmundo Salles seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edmundo Salles the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Solar Paulistano protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edmundo Salles had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Crazy FC's Jano Berger got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Júlio Branco. After 11 played minutes Crazy FC got a freekick which was hit by Magno Brasil. Fábio Nascimento took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guto Maciel. Guto Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 15 minutes, Jano Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crazy FC and the Solar Paulistano players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Crazy FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jano Berger hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Solar Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Almir Lopes. When Crazy FC's Kauã Rodrigues in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Solar Paulistano's goalie prevented a goal. Horácio Xavier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guto Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Kauã Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Júlio Branco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Júlio Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivaldo Velloso in the 31st minute. Vivaldo Velloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vivaldo Velloso ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Crazy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Nascimento came free, but Guto Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Solar Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Severino Luz. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute, Vivaldo Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Solar Paulistano's Fábio Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guto Maciel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Kauã Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Crazy FC's Guto Maciel got control of the ball when Fábio Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Crazy FC booed when Solar Paulistano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jano Berger was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Vivaldo Velloso sped through Solar Paulistano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio Branco. In the 96th minute, Solar Paulistano's Fábio Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guto Maciel. Guto Maciel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Solar Paulistano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
