After a rather tough play, Solar Paulistano's Horácio Xavier got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Matías Nascimento took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Branco. Júlio Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Júlio Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Donato in the 11th minute of the match. Júlio Branco came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarulight F.C's Matías Nascimento. But to his dismay, Matías Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Solar Paulistano's Júlio Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Abreu in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Sava in the 19th minute of play forced Solar Paulistano's goalkeeper Júlio Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Solar Paulistano's Júlio Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Donato in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Guarulight F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Luz came free, but Vitinho Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Severino Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solar Paulistano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarulight F.C the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Solar Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Luz to maneuver through the defense. William Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matías Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Durvalino Vidal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Júlio Branco. Solar Paulistano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iordache Sava blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Branco having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. When William Donato came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Guarulight F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Donato couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Solar Paulistano booed when Guarulight F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If William Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tales Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Guarulight F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tales Abreu couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Iordache Sava had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Branco. Solar Paulistano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iordache Sava was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of Solar Paulistano booed when Guarulight F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iordache Sava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murilo Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Júlio Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Nascimento in the 85th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Albertinho Soeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guarulight F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solar Paulistano the free kick. Albertinho Soeiro hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júlio Branco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the final whistle sounded Guarulight F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Solar Paulistano.
