Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enrique Machado took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Tuive's Acácio Sabóia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Mangueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muricizal EC's goalkeeper Amadeu Mangueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8thth minute of the game Enrique Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muricizal EC's Amadeu Mangueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chico Custódio during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tuive getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Chico Custódio hit a great ball. Rafael de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Pitta in the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Enrique Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Muricizal EC's Wiliam Sabóia got a free kick in the 19th minute. Amadeu Mangueira came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tuive's Acácio Sabóia. But to his dismay, Acácio Sabóia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26th minute, one of Muricizal EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Muricizal EC. Amadeu Mangueira went to the wrong direction when Richard Koehler was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Enrique Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tuive's Rafael de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Tuive from getting a goal against them. After 36 played minutes Muricizal EC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Linhares. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Machado in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Mangueira saved Muricizal EC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Sabóia in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Mangueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Tuive booed when Muricizal EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Chico Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuive's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Mangueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Tuive's Cristian Tande got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Diguinho Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muricizal EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diguinho Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tuive eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
