Mutante Rex FC's Vinícius do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Furlan in the 21st minute of play. Vivaldo Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Vinícius do Vale made a huge save. After some careless play in the Mutante Rex FC defense, Kauã Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinícius do Vale. The Mutante Rex FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius do Vale should have stopped the shot. Guto Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Mutante Rex FC were awarded a corner. Erivaldo Penha went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Erivaldo Penha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Crazy FC's Guto Maciel did a great save. In the 39th minute, Magno Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crazy FC's Kauã Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, José Penha notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Crazy FC's Guto Maciel. Guto Maciel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Mutante Rex FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marcos Nogueira in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guto Maciel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guto Maciel was a little too slow when José Penha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-3. 56 minutes into the match, Mutante Rex FC's José Penha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guto Maciel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ulisses Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Marcos Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mutante Rex FC and the Crazy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Nogueira hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The Mutante Rex FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
