Guerreiros FC's Natanael Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Guerreiros FC from getting a goal against them. After 19 played minutes Jardel Souza rounded Guerreiros FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato de Senna in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinícius Pernambucano saved Vista Verde from getting behind. In the 33rd minute of the match Kaká Baptista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natanael Tavares skillfully saved the ball. Vinícius Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Vista Verde booed when Guerreiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 50 played minutes Guerreiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio de Brito. When Manoel Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Vista Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manoel Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Vista Verde's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Jardel Souza was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 2-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Manoel Medeiros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vista Verde fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guerreiros FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
