Clemente Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Revenge getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hortêncio Salgado hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agnaldo Fontes made a kick off. If Agnaldo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Revenge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The Revenge players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC CORINTHIANS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
