Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elder Fontes made a kick off. Rômulo Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Saldanha having to interfere. Olavo Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Davi Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Loureiro hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The corner led Atlético Gaúcho's Otávio Mendonça to fire away a dangerous shot which Davi Saldanha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Davi Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Reis in the 68th minute of the match. The Atlético Gaúcho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético Gaúcho had won after a very even match.
