But to his dismay, Pedrinho Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Gino Penha came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Alenquer SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino Penha couldn't finish the play. Edinho Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Amorim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Penha in the 27th minute of play forced Ferroviária's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gino Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edinho Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gino Penha hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, Ferroviária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Paes to maneuver through the defense. Ferroviária were furious when Alberto Massa was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Edmílson Mazza shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 44th minute Gino Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ferroviária. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edinho Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ferroviária's Arthur Amorim got control of the ball when Edinho Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Gino Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alenquer SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Edinho Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Amorim was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Alenquer SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gino Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinho Correia in the 90th minute of play forced Ferroviária's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Correia in the 92nd minute of play. Gino Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edinho Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Alenquer SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
