The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Augusto Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Universidade Capixaba's Eliézer Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Severo in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Benfica do Imirim SC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Narciso Viana hit a great ball. Benfica do Imirim SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
