Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Barões da Peladinha's Chicão Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vivaldo Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Albuquerque might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivaldo Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. Oséias Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oséias Damião hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. João Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vivaldo Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Aral Saltık made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Luís Paulo Diniz sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Albuquerque in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vivaldo Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Barões da Peladinha's Jackie McClellan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Eurico Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Albuquerque might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vivaldo Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. Moisés Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 37 in the game by Luís Paulo Diniz from a close distance when the talented Aral Saltık managed to make a qualified save. Barões da Peladinha's players were relieved. Aral Saltık made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho Corrêa in the 40th minute. João Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes Mackenzie College FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Viana. In the 43rd minute of the match Tomé Camargo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vivaldo Montenegro skillfully saved the ball. Vivaldo Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Chaves in the 47th minute of play forced Barões da Peladinha's goalkeeper Aral Saltık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when João Albuquerque made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, João Albuquerque got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vivaldo Montenegro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Barões da Peladinha's Mario Bros got a free kick in the 60th minute. Mackenzie College FC's Vivaldo Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Mackenzie College FC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Chicão Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aral Saltık took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, João Albuquerque took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Vivaldo Montenegro to make any attempt to save it. João Albuquerque took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vivaldo Montenegro. Vivaldo Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mario Bros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Montenegro having to interfere. Mackenzie College FC's Vivaldo Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Mackenzie College FC from getting a goal against them. João Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chicão Porto struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Vivaldo Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barões da Peladinha. João Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barões da Peladinha's Chicão Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Mackenzie College FC defense, João Albuquerque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vivaldo Montenegro. The Mackenzie College FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vivaldo Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Barões da Peladinha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
