The supporters of Pamplona F.C. booed when Estacado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Estacado's Edu Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 26 played minutes Pamplona F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Mattos. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pamplona F.C.'s goalkeeper Genílson Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Pamplona F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Genílson Carneiro came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Estacado's Edu Palmeira. But to his dismay, Edu Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Estacado's Edu Palmeira in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pamplona F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. Cafu Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 61 in the game by Armandinho Cavalcante from a close distance when the talented Genílson Carneiro managed to make a qualified save. Pamplona F.C.'s players were relieved. Armandinho Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Genílson Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pamplona F.C.'s Genílson Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Palmeira in the 64th minute of play. Edu Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Carneiro having to interfere. Edu Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Estacado's Edu Palmeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After having played for 80 minutes, Armandinho Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estacado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armandinho Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Carneiro having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Estacado's Nelson de Moraes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genílson Carneiro. That made the score 0-5 after 83 minutes of play. 90 minutes into the match, Estacado's Armandinho Cavalcante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genílson Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Armandinho Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Carneiro having to interfere.
