After a defensive mix-up in Manguinho's zone, Alfredão Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisinho Pinho came out of the goal and Alfredão Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Manguinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Manguinho booed when WHITE HOUSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Terra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Maciel in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Manguinho's Juarês Severo got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 85th minute Juarês Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. WHITE HOUSE's Alfredão Recife got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Manguinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Messias to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, WHITE HOUSE's Luiz Terra got control of the ball when Dagoberto Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Fabiano Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisinho Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
