Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Brito kicked off to start the match. Valério Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fabiano Santos having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Umberto do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fabiano Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Barral went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sampaio Corrêa FC's Luís Fabiano Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto do Nascimento in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, José Paulo Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rapador AD and the Sampaio Corrêa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rapador AD's José Paulo Magalhães got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, José Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luís Fabiano Santos was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Umberto do Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Umberto do Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Matheus da Cunha struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Carlos Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sampaio Corrêa FC. If Valério Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fabiano Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto do Nascimento made a kick off. Luís Fabiano Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Barral in the 52nd minute of the match. Luís Fabiano Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto do Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Carlos Alves made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when José Brito sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Oséas Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Yuri Correia in the 84th minute really tested Carlos Alves's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 88 played minutes Sampaio Corrêa FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Correia. Valério Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Luís Fabiano Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
