Lulu Paçoca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Xavier in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válbson Cardoso saved Lulu Paçoca FC from getting behind. Válbson Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Xavier in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Dagoberto Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Cardoso having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Lulu Paçoca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Válbson Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Xavier in the 41st minute of play. When Antônio Carlos Passos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. The supporters of Lulu Paçoca FC booed when America PE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Miranda hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. America PE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
