Luan Sás short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Dudu Fonseca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 8th minute, Jorge Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdo Medeiros's late challenge caught a Tacihua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. Valdo Medeiros hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Luan Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dudu Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Luan Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dudu Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Jorge Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dino Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luan Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 48 in the game by Luan Sá from a close distance when the talented Dudu Fonseca managed to make a qualified save. Tacihua's players were relieved.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luan Sá in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dudu Fonseca saved Tacihua from getting behind. Mateus Mandrak hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Dino Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dudu Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tacihua's Dudu Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Ribeiro in the 57th minute of play. Pedrão Pirani charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrão Pirani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tacihua getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pedrão Pirani hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luan Sá in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dudu Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Tacihua's zone, Luan Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dudu Fonseca came out of the goal and Luan Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Luan Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dudu Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luan Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tacihua's Pedrão Pirani got a free kick in the 77th minute. Dino Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dudu Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Dino Ribeiro made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tacihua's Dudu Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Golden Dogs's Dino Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dudu Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Luan Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luan Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Dino Ribeiro notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Tacihua's Dudu Fonseca. Dudu Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Osvaldo Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Dogs's protests and gave Osvaldo Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. Gino Gerber shot from long distance after 97 played minutes, a shot that Evrosi Sakaliyski with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Golden Dogs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
