Délio das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Dante struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arí Moraes to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dedê Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boot FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egídio Maciel was slow to take the kick. During this time Prazeres's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Prazeres's Egídio Maciel to fire away a dangerous shot which Délio das Neves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hernani Madureira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boot FC! When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Prazeres's Egídio Maciel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Délio das Neves. Tomás Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Prazeres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boot FC:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavinho de Queiroz during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Prazeres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Dedê Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Fenomeno having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Prazeres's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Vergílio came free, but Ronaldinho Fenomeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
