In the 3rd minute, Waldir Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Prazeres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boot FC:s goal. Ronaldinho Fenomeno went to the wrong direction when João Francisco Fantini was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ronaldinho Fenomeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Cássio da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Moraes in the 17th minute of play forced Boot FC's goalkeeper Délio das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dé Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Délio das Neves made a huge save. Ronaldinho Fenomeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Boot FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dé Dante fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 29 played minutes Boot FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Marinho. If Dé Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Délio das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arí Moraes's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Waldir Bezerra was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dé Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Délio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A hard shot by Hernani Madureira from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Ronaldinho Fenomeno's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 54 minutes into the game, Dé Dante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Délio das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th match minute, Prazeres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Dé Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedê Custódio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Prazeres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Lara to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Prazeres getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Anderson Teles hit a great ball. Ronaldinho Fenomeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Waldir Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prazeres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arí Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Délio das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prazeres walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
