After 7 played minutes S.E REAL HEMP got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Maia. Lenílson Garcia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in S.E REAL HEMP's zone, Lauro Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá Lago came out of the goal and Lauro Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natã Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Sérgio Mazza made a huge save. If Flavinho Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.E REAL HEMP's Cacá Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Mota in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Lauro Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.E REAL HEMP's Flavinho Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cacá Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Flavinho Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E REAL HEMP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavinho Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cacá Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Abreu in the 39th minute of the match. S.E REAL HEMP's Flavinho Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernandinho Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Mazza having to make a save.
