With a left leg Robinho Guerra saved da Loop from getting behind. Leonardo Maranhense's late challenge caught a da Loop's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, Pindoretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natanael do Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Robinho Guerra managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Pindoretama's Ramiro Vidal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robinho Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Vidal in the 92nd minute. Ramiro Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
