Galáticos Futebol Clube's Vitório Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Galáticos Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Víktor Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Tinoco in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Váldson Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Víktor Diniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Fiori Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Váldson Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galáticos Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juve Ibicity the free kick. Váldson Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Galáticos Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Paraense. Vitório Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Augusto Velasco in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Galáticos Futebol Clube's zone, Douglas Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Linares came out of the goal and Douglas Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitório Linares made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Carlos Augusto Velasco sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Matos during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Galáticos Futebol Clube booed when Juve Ibicity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Douglas Breckenfeld to make the kick off. Galáticos Futebol Clube's Vitório Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Brasil in the 51st minute of play. Vitório Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Breckenfeld in the 58th minute of play. If Váldson Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Váldson Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Galáticos Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Tinoco couldn't finish the play. In the 66th match minute, Juve Ibicity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Víktor Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Tinoco in the 70th minute of the match. Paulo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Diniz having to interfere. Víktor Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Tinoco in the 78th minute of play. Allan Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Galáticos Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Vitório Linares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Douglas Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Breckenfeld in the 90th minute of play forced Galáticos Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Vitório Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Juve Ibicity's Víktor Diniz got control of the ball when Paulo Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Galáticos Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
