Josué Toledo started the match with the kick off. Boizebu FC's Hílton Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Toledo in the 4th minute of play. Josué Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Rezende having to interfere. Hílton Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Vitinho Peixoto made a precise shot to the right of Enio Toledo. Ivape's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Ivape's Aníbal Paranaense got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Boizebu FC were awarded a corner. João Pedro Lucas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in João Pedro Lucas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ivape's Enio Toledo did a great save. Basílio Alvarenga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Boizebu FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christian Severo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Enio Toledo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st minute of the match, Basílio Alvarenga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enio Toledo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Christian Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boizebu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elói Costa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Hílton Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ivape. Basílio Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christian Severo came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Boizebu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Severo couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Alvarenga made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Boizebu FC's goalkeeper Hílton Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elói Costa. Ivape's Elói Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Toledo in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Rezende saved Boizebu FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elói Costa got free with Hílton Rezende in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 62 minutes, Josué Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivape's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enéas Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. João Pedro Lucas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match, Josué Toledo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hílton Rezende saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dadá Dracena helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ivape booed when Boizebu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Hílton Rezende managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Ivape's Elói Costa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Christian Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aníbal Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ivape's protests and gave Aníbal Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boizebu FC fully deserved thier win.
