An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Cardoso in the 34th minute of play forced Licio FC's goalkeeper Celso Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hunters Heisz's Pedrinho Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernani Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Dias having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Pedrinho Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Licio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Cosme came free, but Celso Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isaltino Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Geovânio Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Hunters Heisz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Medeiros couldn't finish the play. When Geovânio Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hunters Heisz's protests and gave Geovânio Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Licio FC booed when Hunters Heisz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Licio FC had won after a very even match.
