The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Berger got free with Naldo Britto in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Victor Berger came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ventura EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Berger couldn't finish the play. Naldo Britto made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Victor Berger sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manoel Sabóia in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Britto saved Hunters Heisz from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manoel Sabóia in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naldo Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Hunters Heisz's Cristiano Almeida got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Gerson Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ventura EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

53 minutes into the match, Hunters Heisz's Pedrinho Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 minutes of play, Hunters Heisz's Pedrinho Cardoso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Pedrinho Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hunters Heisz's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Naldo Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes, Hunters Heisz's Sílvio Luís Paes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Tróia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hunters Heisz reached it. In the 88th minute Pedrinho Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvério Pontes got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Ventura EC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Silvério Pontes hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hunters Heisz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
