Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ricardinho Figueiredo got the match started through his kick off. Alfredo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Eugênio Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Marmelada SC's Ricardinho Figueiredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 17 minutes, Tarcisio Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marmelada SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarcisio Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Leandro de Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Mendes was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 20 minutes of play, Marmelada SC's Tarcisio Hoffmann made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, C. R. Alquimistas's goalkeeper Ernesto Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarcisio Hoffmann. 25 minutes into the match, C. R. Alquimistas's Frank Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arí Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arí Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulinho Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arí Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to C. R. Alquimistas getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mané Pena hit a great ball. C. R. Alquimistas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Ricardinho Figueiredo scored to the left of an out of position Ernesto Mendes, making the score, 3-0. Ricardinho Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Figueiredo in the 46th minute of the match. C. R. Alquimistas's Ernesto Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save C. R. Alquimistas from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Paulinho Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Figueiredo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Mendes saved C. R. Alquimistas from getting behind. In the 59th minute Ricardinho Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Pena hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ernesto Mendes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Marmelada SC's Ricardinho Figueiredo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 67 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Mendes. C. R. Alquimistas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ricardinho Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. R. Alquimistas's Ernesto Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardinho Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ernesto Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes C. R. Alquimistas got a freekick which was hit by Mané Pena. In the 77th minute, Ricardinho Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marmelada SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 81stth minute of the game Paulinho Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marmelada SC's Arí Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Tarcisio Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marmelada SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarcisio Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Fernando Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Ricardinho Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Tarcisio Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Mendes having to interfere. If Ricardinho Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. R. Alquimistas's Ernesto Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro de Lara in the 94th minute of play. Marmelada SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
