After 17 minutes, Gualter Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kevao So Pao and the Imbira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jeremias Castro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the last second Diamantino Velasco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vitório Trigo in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Vinícius Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Bertassi having to interfere. Vitório Trigo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Diamantino Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imbira FC. 33 minutes into the match, Imbira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Pitta came free, but Roger Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinícius Paulista took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Bertassi. Roger Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Imbira FC booed when Kevao So Pao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vitório Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinícius Paulista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Kevao So Pao booed when Imbira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Natanael Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Pitta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Roger Bertassi made a huge save. Anísio Pitta took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino Velasco. Diamantino Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Pedrão de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Vinícius Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Roger Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Imbira FC's goalkeeper Roger Bertassi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Pitta. Vitório Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Imbira FC's Natanael Netto got a free kick in the 78th minute. Vitório Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Velasco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitório Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the match, Vitório Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Velasco. Kevao So Pao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Vitório Trigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Velasco having to make a save. Diamantino Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Pitta in the 87th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Bernardo Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kevao So Pao's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
