CENTER FC's Elder Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Elder Barbosa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vladimir Bezerra, passed just outside the right post. Armando Britto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Vladimir Bezerra made a huge save. Wágner Gonçalves's late challenge caught a CENTER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wágner Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. Wágner Gonçalves hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Elder Barbosa spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Dedeco fc's goal. Maurinho Brasils short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Vladimir Bezerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adhemar Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. Amauri Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Moreno in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Elder Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. CENTER FC's Armando Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Adhemar Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dedeco fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amauri Leite made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Hélder Madureira sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Dedeco fc's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Barbosa came free, but Vladimir Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder Barbosa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Elder Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Dedeco fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Vladimir Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elder Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Maurinho Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Barbosa in the 87th minute of play forced Dedeco fc's goalkeeper Vladimir Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Dedeco fc got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Gonçalves. After a defensive mix-up in Dedeco fc's zone, Elder Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Bezerra came out of the goal and Elder Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
