After a defensive mix-up in Irajuba AD's zone, Arlindo de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Rosado came out of the goal and Arlindo de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zé Pedro Moura came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Irajuba AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Pedro Moura couldn't finish the play. Campistão FC's He Yu Ying played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Valle in the 15th minute of play. Zé Pedro Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. He Yu Ying tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Campistão FC's Adriano Abreu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Zé Pedro Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Irajuba AD's Zé Pedro Moura got a free kick in the 51st minute. Agnaldo Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Agnaldo Queirós's late challenge caught a Irajuba AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Agnaldo Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedito Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Campistão FC's Arlindo de Sena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Rosado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Campistão FC's Osvaldo Peres suffered a sore foot after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 76th match minute, Irajuba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Benedito Valle could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which He Yu Ying however easily saved by the left post. 88 minutes into the match, Arlindo de Sena notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Irajuba AD's Edgard Rosado. Edgard Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute, Evandro Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo de Sena took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Rosado.
