Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luciano Gaúcho kicked off to start the match. Benjamim Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Germano Mota notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of A Sombra Marca's Benjamim Quadros. Benjamim Quadros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the match, Santiago Soldiers FC's Germano Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Benjamim Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Gaúcho in the 15th minute. A collision led to Santiago Soldiers FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Percy Andrade hit a great ball. When Luciano Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the A Sombra Marca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes Santiago Soldiers FC got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Perez. A sloppy throw-in by Germano Mota in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A Sombra Marca's Matías Nunes. The supporters of A Sombra Marca booed when Santiago Soldiers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Duarte having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, Santiago Soldiers FC's Germano Mota made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamim Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Luciano Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Santiago Soldiers FC's Germano Mota got a free kick in the 36th minute. Luciano Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Conrado Duarte made a huge save. After some careless play in the Santiago Soldiers FC defense, Luciano Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Duarte. The Santiago Soldiers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Duarte should have stopped the shot. A Sombra Marca's Benjamim Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Mota in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Germano Mota made the kick off in the second half. Germano Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, A Sombra Marca's Benjamim Quadros got control of the ball when Germano Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Santiago Soldiers FC's Hortêncio Perez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamim Quadros. That made the score 1-5 after 61 minutes of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Germano Mota got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benjamim Quadros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A Sombra Marca's Benjamim Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan da Silva in the 70th minute of play. Matías Nunes's late challenge caught a Santiago Soldiers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matías Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. A Sombra Marca's Benjamim Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save A Sombra Marca from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Alan da Silva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamim Quadros, 1-6. In the 82nd minute, Luciano Gaúcho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A Sombra Marca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. In the 87th minute of the match, Germano Mota got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benjamim Quadros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 87th minute, Matías Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A Sombra Marca's Benjamim Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save A Sombra Marca from getting a goal against them. Luciano Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hortêncio Perez hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Gaúcho in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
