Hugo Zonta made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Rodrigo do Valle sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Zonta was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Luís Paulo Viana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Paulo Viana really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Minuano FC's Hugo Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Minuano FC from getting a goal against them. If Rodrigo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauã Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Hugo Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Sousa in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Laerte Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minuano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araripe EC the free kick. Dagoberto Vale hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Luís Paulo Viana fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Araripe EC's protests and gave Luís Paulo Viana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Araripe EC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Luís Paulo Viana hit a great ball. If Enio Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Valério Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enio Cerezo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dé Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Eger made a kick off. If Rodrigo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Minuano FC's Túlio Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laerte Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Hugo Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Sousa in the 62nd minute of play. Rodrigo do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Eger in the 67th minute of the match. Enio Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dé Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Couto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araripe EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minuano FC the free kick. Laerte Sousa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Laerte Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minuano FC's Charles Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Rodrigo do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Araripe EC were the better team. Araripe EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
