Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vágner Peixoto kicked off to start the match. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes Erik Falcão shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Júnior Santana when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Ernesto Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Osmar Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Vágner Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júnior Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Francisco Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Zuba F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Beto Bertassi. Andrézinho Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júnior Santana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar Falcão in the 30th minute. Vágner Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Santana having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Carnaubas SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Peixoto came free, but Júnior Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beto de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Zuba F. C.'s Osmar Falcão made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júnior Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Vágner Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Zuba F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Peixoto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Falcão in the 55th minute of play forced Carnaubas SC's goalkeeper Júnior Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júnior Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vágner Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Osmar Falcão notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Carnaubas SC's Júnior Santana. Júnior Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zuba F. C.'s Osmar Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vágner Peixoto took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júnior Santana. Júnior Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Júnior Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Peixoto in the 75th minute of play. Ernesto Matos struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Andrézinho Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnaubas SC. Osmar Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Dênis Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Osmar Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Carnaubas SC's Beto de Senna got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 99th minute, Osmar Falcão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júnior Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.
